Quarterly calls with your investors are very important. I had to learn that over time. Investors need to know what’s going on in your deals. At least those in which they are participating. They are, after all, letting you use their cash and/or credit in your deals, right?

Here’s another thing I learned.

When having these quarterly calls I have to use the right language. As one of my investors said, I have to speak in a language that he can understand. My bad. I adjusted and was able to convey my reporting just fine.

See? I have a few things to learn still. I’m working on the areas of improvement. I don’t guess I’ll ever stop learning.
